MCBA SECTIONS

The Monterey County Bar Association has a number of active practice-area sections composed of members of the MCBA. Sections focus on specific areas and issues of substantive law, procedural law, continuing legal education, legislation, and/or any other subject of significant professional or public interest.

Any member of the MCBA is eligible for membership in one or more sections. Joining a section requires the completion of that section’s application and the payment of any applicable section dues. The executive committee of each section determines whether to assess annual dues or other fees as necessary for the operation of the section. Any such section funds are held by the MCBA for the benefit of the section and may be drawn upon by the section’s executive committee to further the educational and professional objectives of the section.

For more information about MCBA Sections, see the information below. To contact one of the Sections, please call or email the MCBA Executive Director Jennifer Ramras Dalton to be connected to the current Chair.
